Why I feel sad today.

By: Khurshid Anwer - Lahore May 4 (THE NATION): The PM has said, OBLs death is a victory against terrorism. WhileMusharraf has said it is a violation of Pakistans sovereignty. There are serious doubts whether he was alive at all. Even if alive, he was in isolation without telephone or internet connection, perhaps just a TV set. He was no threat to anyone. Killing him has done more harm than good. The hatred will spread. Perhaps the news has not yet reached our PM that OBL had nothing to do with 9/11. Bush used 9/11 as an excuse to invade Afghanistan. Who created this excuse is the 64,000 dollar question. CIA was already under orders to execute a regime change by executing the Taliban leadership for their refusal to allow oil from the Caspian Sea to pass through Afghanistan to the India Ocean. They wanted their regime to be recognized to which US did not agree. The Puppet PPP government will very conveniently treat this also as another Drone attack. If the Drones can roam freely in our skies, so can US helicopters. There are two villains of the piece in the whole sordid drama. The one who occupied and the other who helped to occupy. Drone attacks will not end until the second villain asks the first villain to leave the scene of the crime. The question Pakistan needs to ask is, who pushed the Taliban out from their homes, when will they be allowed to go back home. If these questions are not asked, the Taliban will remain our enemies even after they go back home. LETTER
